NASDAQ inched +0.06% higher to extended its winning streak into a seventh consecutive session - the longest such streak since the last seven day positive run that ended on 12 March. The index sits within 50-points of its record close (7,932.24) set on 25 July Amazon.com Inc (up +1.3%) and Facebook Inc (+0.8%) led the technology-centric index higher. Tesla Inc fell -2.4% a day after soaring 11% after Chief Executive Elon Musk said he was considering taking the electric vehicle manufacturer private.
