US markets all finished in the black, rebounding slightly from Friday’s sharp fall - Dow rose +46-points or +0.2%, The broader S&P500 rose +9-points or +0.3%, the technology-centric NASDAQ climbed +0.5%. Stocks had been considerably stronger earlier in the day with the Dow rising as much as 440 points intraday, after the U.S. had slightly softened its tone against China. However, they finished well off session highs as shares of Amazon and Boeing rolled over – Amazon up 2.3% intraday but finished only 0.1% higher, and Boeing up 2.7% intraday but finished the day 1.1% lower. Traders said a report that FBI officers had raided the office of President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer also fuelled the late day decline.
