The broader S&P500 rose +0.15%, setting both intra-day and record closing highs and consolidating the indices' move above >2,500 for the first time last Friday (15 September). Financial stocks continued to trade strongly (J.P. Morgan up +1.4% and Goldman Sachs +1.0%). The NASDAQ inched +0.10% higher, hitting a fresh record intra-day high earlier in the session.President Trump is scheduled to address the United Nations (UN) General Assembly in New York on Tuesday. Trump also spoke before the UN on Monday but made no mention of North Korea...but did say that the UN has not reached its full potential due to bureaucracy and mismanagement.
