U.S. stocks jumped on Monday as strong manufacturing data out of the U.S. and China eased worries of a possible global economic slowdown. The Dow rose +1.3%, led by gains in United Technologies, Caterpillar and J.P. Morgan Chase. Monday’s session also marked the Dow’s first close above 26,000 since Feb. 26. The S&P 500 climbed +1.2% as the financials sector outperformed and is only 2.2% below its record closing high in September. The Nasdaq closed 1.3% higher on gains from Facebook, Amazon, Netflix and Alphabet.
