US markets - Dow down 144-points or -0.57%, with Visa Inc (down -3.01%) and American Express Co (-2.89%) the biggest losers of indice's 30 components. American Express came under pressure after The Wall Street Journal alleged that the company lured small business customers with low foreign exchange conversion rates only to raise rates later without notifying them. The broader S&P500 -0.58% despite Energy (up 0.63%) leading six of the eleven primary sectors higher. The technology sector (down -1.8%) was again the biggest drag. The technology-centric NASDAQ fell -1.39% take its three day fall to -3.86% - its biggest since late March (when it lost -5.12% over three sessions). The FAANG group was under fresh selling pressure, with Facebook Inc down -4.3%, Amazon Inc -1.2%, Apple Inc -0.60%, Netflix Inc -4.6% and Google parent Alphabet Inc -1.5%.
