US equity markets rebounded, with both the Dow and S&P500 snapping four session losing streaks as fears around Turkey's currency receded (and saw the lira climb over >5% against the US dollar) - Dow up +112-points or +0.45% The broader S&P500 rose +0.64%, NASDAQ +0.65%. Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc (up 0.2%) increased its stake in Apple Inc (up +0.4%) by 5%, according to a regulatory filing overnight that discloses positions through the end of the second quarter. Berkshire Hathaway also upped its holdings of Goldman Sachs (+1.19%) by 21%, Delta Air Lines Inc (+1.00%) by 18.8% and Southwest Airlines Co (+0.42%) by 18.7%, the filing said, and it added another 6.7% to its Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (+0.77%) stake (which it had doubled in the first quarter of this year). Berkshire cut its holdings in Phillips 66 Partners LP (+0.06%) by 24%, Wells Fargo & Co (+0.80%) by 1%, and Charter Communications Inc (+1.9%) by 8.7 percent, as of the end of June. It also cut shares in American Airlines Group Inc (+0.82%) by 2.8%, and United Continental Inc (+0.28%) by 3.7 percent.
