US equity markets rebounded strongly, buoyed by strong quarterly earnings results that saw the benchmark indices log their best single session performance since March - Dow rallied +548-points or +2.17% to settle more than >4.5% above the lows seen last week. The broader S&P500 jumped +2.15%, with the Information Technology and Healthcare both advancing over >2.5% and with all 11 primary sectors closing in positive territory. The technology-centric NASDAQ gained +2.88%. The small capitalisation Russell 2000 index jumped +2.8% to record its best day since 9 November, 2016.
