On the US-China trade front, White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said the Trump administration’s trade talks with China will be resolved within the next two weeks. Separately, US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said he hoped to make "substantial progress" with Chinese negotiators in the next two rounds of trade talks. For the month, the Dow gained +2.56% , S&P500 +3.93% and Nasdaq +4.74%.
