Wall Street reversed its pattern from yesterdays session opening the day up 150 points before closing down 132 points in a shortened session ahead of US Independence Day festivities. The Dow finished the session down -0.54%, the S&P500 was down 13.5 points or -0.49% and the NASDAQ closed 65 points lower or -0.86%.
Tech shares dropped sharply while lingering concerns over a trade dispute between the US and other major economies rattled investors. Equities rose earlier in the day as energy shares jumped after oil futures broke above $75.
