“Hit Cha” from my album AFTER LAUGHTER. This song is about realizing that more often than not, we get stuck inside of our own heads, thinking only our clock has the right time. The world doesn’t cease to exist when we close our eyes. And once we realize how little we actually know and begin to seek out new knowledge from multiple perspectives, a new and evolved portrait of existence begins to unfold before us. Many of us (and I’m guilty of it too) numb ourselves from reality in order to remain blissful through ignorance. But in the grand scheme of existence, we all need be the change we hope to see in our world. Easier said than done but there is a way. You do not need to be a super hero. Instead, be a little hero. This way, if we are all doing a little bit to make the universe a better place, it will make a LARGE difference.
