A work in progress / abandonded track from early 2023, finished and remixed June 1st 2023.
This track, I created earlier this year for the same proto-jazz proyect that generated my track for [junto0584](https://soundcloud.com/daniel-diaz/nocturnal-studio-jam-number-2) this was intended to be a jazz-lounge jam, I recorded the electric piano part over a jazz drum loop and a walking upright bass, then decided that I wanted a more lounge/funky beta and grabbed a different loop. I clicked on the wrong loop-file an dI got this weird electro-beat that completely destroyed the track's jazz feel. I tried to re record the bass, with a fretless bass, more soul-funk groovy but it didn't work, it was too hybrid.
So as the track evolved from a jazz jam to...well, this; I decided to tweak a couple of things, mix it and share it with you as my example of Phylogeny.
