*Main Message
During the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Dereck Redman, was preparing for his race. He had trained to get this far and he had done this a thousand times before. He was ready. They took their mark, got set and as soon as the shot was fired, they were off. He was running as fast as he could, but in the middle of the run, he felt a staggering pain. His hamstring on his right leg had ripped. In anguish he fell down and the pain overtook him. Doctors rushed to him, but he was determined to finish his race, even though they advised him against it. He was barely making it when suddenly a man broke through security and came to help him. It was his father. His father told him: if you are so determined to finish this race, then we will finish it together. My friend, God will do the same for us. In the race of life, we often get hurt, we stumble, we fall down. But in those times you have to know that God will come through for you and He will raise you back to your feet and help you to finish the race. Hang on to Him; He will not let you down!
