Although it seems difficult and seems like we are allowing people to use us, Christianity is not a faith where God commands us to be abused. Rather we are taught to take the high road, to do things differently than what the world expects. We are called to have a higher reaction in a way that we can impart a blessing into our surroundings while avoiding conflict. The Lord is proposing a way to deal with life’s difficulties in a higher manner and turn anger into a blessing.
