Description

A speaker from Amnesty International gives a talk on the mission of the organizaiton, the importance of the right to dissent, and gives examples of confilcts around the world Amnesty International is addressing. During the second half of the event, poems of Irina Ratushinskaya, involved in PEN International, are read by Amnesty International members, interspersed with their descriptions of Ratushinskaya's personal trajectory as a dissenter.
