Alex Espinoza was born in Tijuana, Mexico and raised in suburban Los Angeles. Author of the novel STILL WATER SAINTS and THE FIVE ACTS OF DIEGO LÉON, he received an MFA from the University of California, Irvine. Espinoza is also the Director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing and Literary Arts at Cal State LA.
