Description

In this recording, Arthur Miller reports on a trip that he and William Styron made in early June 1988 to Chile and takes questions from the press. Miller discusses, among other topics, the enthusiastic reception they received from students and young people, the upcoming election (which removed Pinochet from the presidency) after seventeen years of dictatorship, and his and Styron's meetings with journalists, writers, students, and the families of the "disappeared."
