matt holt is a Techno DJ, avid music collector and a lover of underground Electronica.
From Wolverhampton, matt discovered his passion for the underground scene through Hysteria, Helter Skelter and Rennie Pilgrim mixtapes. Learning his trade at the age of 17 on a pair of belt-driven turntables he soon got gigs in Wolverhampton bars. These were followed with regular nights at Nailed, a hard dance night in Leicester. In 2019 matt became a resident at MONO and has also performed and guest mixed for some of the countries top underground movements such as Nexus, Collide and now DRR
Over the years, like many DJ’s, matt’s sound has changed but always keeps to that Techno sound. Whether it’s funky chunky cuts, driving energetic stompers or darker melodic breaks, matt’s sets fit any dance floor.
Matt have delivered a powerful 75 minute journey going from light, synth led uplifting gear, right through to straight up club pounders!
