These three shows ("Space 1999", "Hawaii 50", and the "Six Million Dollar Man" ) all had opening credits song themes with common characteristics (all used Timpani Drums a lot with more "modern" Drum kits for instants) and instrumentation.. and all despite the lifespan of the show, had episodes that overlapped in 1977... a very special year for me... yes I watched all three shows nearly till their final episode...
