This is a first pass at a very long time favorite song/band/album that had deep impact on me, my life, and of course "Wintermut3"
I wanted to bring the harder edged post-punk, new-wave version together with the amazing Piano version and then grind them into and shape them into the dark and dystopian array of visages and descriptions that are in the lyrics
as the new bass line that at times dominates all other aspects of the song as it chops and grinds it way through the human at the park--and through all this project/render the entire work into how I have always felt about this amazing and epic track... let the listener feel my interpretation of the sadly unsung ... song
so... lets go "Down to the Park"...
Where the mach-men meet the machines
And play 'kill-by-numbers'...
btw, the patch name I gave the main bass(a new complementary bassline) (featuring IKMMs' Modo Bass with tons of amp sim and NIs "Driver" ) was "Murder Bass, I, II, III"
