Occasionally albeit rarely tragedy befall the 3rd act of a Bullfight--"tragedy" is a relative term here, as point of perspective comes into play--in other words, the Toreador is killed. This is the state of the world as this track opens, we hear the Matador's theme as Spanish guitar plays out his final minutes and the crowd watches him fall in horror, the spilling out of themes, including the main one, is represent of all the various friends and fans rushing to his aid, and the rest to reflect the moods and zeitgeist of the bulk of the audience as National treasure bleeds out, before all. Many of the themes heard are derivatives of common and not so common Spanish music themes and anthems--the key structures however or more typically Wintermut3.
