a song I have wanted to do for a while at least in concept--a song to show that piano is still king when it wants to be. Written and recorded in one night in January 2016 total time to create 7h:40m -- no loops, I wrote ever note. The title is a bit of a play on words as "pianoforte" was the original name of what we now just call the piano and the strength of the piece is it's "piano" (remember these are virtual pianos (VST's and the like) and over time the main voice that is heard the most in Wintermut3 music is the piano. There may be an update to this soon as there is one resolve that goes discordant that I am not sure I entirely like as all of others are clear minor with no discord--hey it was 7 hours and 40 mins from start to mixdown on this one, one questionable phrase resolve isn't that bad :) This track really shows how FLStudio's score tools can allow quick creation of transpositional counter and harmor lines (not the opening "run" and all its variants, I laid it note by note with my ear no tricks there :)
