Rachel is of the course the female lead and love interest in both Philip K Dick's "Do Android Dream of Electric Sheep" and R idly Scott's epic "Blade Runner". In both cases she is an "android" a vat grown organic "machine". She is a complex and fascinating character and is the subject of this song which centers around the phrase: "Are we not alive if we Dream.." prose from yours truly which epitomizes the ideas in those two stories and is the hard point were she realizes she is an Android and has fake memories and dreams to help her "cope". I originally created this track in 2010 when I was a contract programmer (my day job) and fully created this track "at work" at Dell. When I released "Philip K Dick" I remembered that it shared theme and composition "linage" with this track and also realized that this track had never been released at Soundcloud however it had been available for a short time at ArtistServer.com ...Enjoy...
