Description

Note: this is my hardcore "remix/reimage" of a flstudio demo song by Veela( source vox) and SeamlessR ( the amazing dubstepish "Massive"-like fx using IML's Hamor synth) and also the orginal basic composition --I added about 20% more to composition to add in both prog trance and hard trance elements and brought the dymanics up about 1000% --it now goes to 11 ;)

orginal mix notes:

Wintermut3's WIP remix of SeamlessR & Veela's "Sometimes", next version I will bring vocals up. I always liked this track, but felt it lacked in your face "pop" it should have, so I brought up the dynamics... a lot, added a ton of new better drums (the old ones where just a long for the ride IMHO),added additional vocal backing using "pitcher", toughened up the bass and Reese bass a lot...backed it with Native Instrument instruments "Driver", added the gross beat gate to the organ to give it more of attack feel, and lastly subbed out the arpeggios lines with a 303 and instead of cheating and using the "apreggitor" in the channel and just running straight chords, I actually broke the cords into real arpeggios, and lastly brought the build and drops up a ton.... in dynamics and pop I should add, I didn't touch any of the composition as that is really solid... mostly it has been about dynamics and voice selection (in the artists defense, I know this song was largely built around Image-line's new-at-the-time VST synthesizer/re-synthesizer "Harmor" and they were kinda of strapped on voice selection as there are some things "Harmor" does great, and others not so much) the original was a well designed and thought out designed and literally maxed a ton of FLStudio to make it. more to come...
