Sadly I feel we as a country--the United States--are near
,if not exacly in/on the "zeitgeist" of both the witch trials, and the red scare...what happened on Jan 6 is a wake up call at the least, and systematic at worse..The Civil War just didn't suddenly happen...there were years and years of various events that proceeded it--Brown's uprising being one of the last...

So that all said, i am invoking Miller's play which once served to remind a crazed nation of another time when people on this great land lost their collective minds and "hunted" and even killed innocents...
