Yes's original song off of the "Relayer" album had me at first hearing, this version of mine is still a bit a WIP this one has taken me years to bring to production as it is a complexity (progressive jazz) within a complexity(Rock) times a complexity (Generating this with only a computer/electronically/Sans Band/Modeled VSTs/No Samples)
Steve's guitar work was so complex I had to use two tandam gujitar lines each controlled differently and I still had to filter the hell out of them to control them to avoid cracking and Squeaking. Slayer 2 has control over the damping. the tension, the velocity of the tension, the bending, and many more for just the string behavior, about 10 to 12 automation lines, or you live tweak all of that (yeah I know, it woould probably be easier to use a real guitar, but that is not the point ;) ) so at one point I thought about controlling at least one of the Slayer 2's "live" without using an automation.... but I thnk that can be avoided now... regardless, it was a labor of love....
