For the cover art, I inverted the keys on the model I rendered, because a "Fortepiano or pianoForte" has keys like a harpsichord Black keys for the Whole notes and white keys for the half notes ( opposite of a piano today )
Production wise, I wanted this mix/composition to feel improv and loose/organic and most of ... live. I used modo drums by IKMM with a new custom kit--one of features of this new WMS kit, named "Big Ballad", was a large "loose" snare drum with large low tension "chains" but using a low to negative velosity on the sticks/hits over i mix the "studio" and "jazz" elements (basa drum, snare, toms, etc) into this hybrid new kit
