Stavanger-forfatter var et ukjent navn for mange da han ble nominert til Nordisk råds litteraturpris for boken "Termin", som kom i 2016. Han var gjest på Kapittel-festivalen på Sølvberget i 2017, hvor han ble intervjuet av Brita Strand Rangnes.
