Next up on hafendisko - the Hamburg based imprint for classy, emotive electronic sound - is the return of MANOID. Following up the To Grieve EP, the mysterious producer from Warsaw, Poland shares another amazing EP.
Are Burning - the title track, is a deeply layered slice of emotional electronica - a thick growling bass and various arpeggiated synths and melodies providing the movement. The track is full of drama and moments of high intensity, switching effortlessly into huge, lush breakdowns.
Brooklyn based Jordan Lieb - aka Black Light Smoke, teases out the track innate deep house elements. Leaning on his influences in the New York underground scene, Lieb produces a slick, grooving cut destined to enrapture DJs and dancers alike.
