ë’s Y-Series, bringing you club-oriented material from over the globe, delivers the first official E.P from Woreka, part of the ë DJ crew and member of Babani Soundsystem: Send Me Off To Eat/Little Knives Cut Big Pumpkins (a literal English translation of Mauritian tongue in cheek expressions).
This belter combines ravey synth lines with textured drums tastefully. The 2nd track to the E.P: Little Knives Cut Big Pumpkins is a more classic kuduro-inspired banger with some spicy electronic textures on top.
Woreka’s ability to seamlessly assimilate rhythms from around the globe to form his own distinctly personal style makes this project unique as it combines different layers of percussion and grooves with some techno on top. Perfect recipe for the club!
