On Monday, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare added 74 new cases to its statewide total. That’s in addition to 471 cases and three deaths added over the weekend. That brings the statewide total to 33,741 known cases and 385 deaths.
Recently, the statewide weekly positivity rate has dropped to about 8 percent, down from a high of about 15 percent in July. That’s with about 11,000 fewer weekly tests than we saw two months ago.
