Idaho has hit a new milestone with COVID-19 vaccinations, according to Dave Jeppesen, director of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. As of last week, more Idahoans have received the first dose of the vaccine than have been diagnosed with the virus.
For the foreseeable future, the state will receive about 30,000 first doses each week, in addition to the paired second doses. Later this week, the state will make race and ethnicity data of vaccine recipients available on its COVID website.
