On Wednesday, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare added 645 new cases and 4 new deaths to its statewide total. That brings the statewide total to 49,892 known cases and 516 deaths.
Today’s deaths were reported in Bonner, Kootenai, Shoshone and Bonneville counties. The largest case increases were 102 new cases in Ada County, 74 in Kootenai County, 68 in Canyon County, and 51 in Madison County.
As of Monday, there were 219 patients hospitalized with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state, and 56 patients with confirmed cases in the ICU.
