CKUT Radio and Tuesday Night Cafe Theatre are teaming up to bring you radio plays for the pandemic times. While you can't attend the premiere in a theater right know, we invite you to tune in on www.ckut.ca or on the FM dial, tonight at 8 pm for the first act of State of Denial, original play by Raul Varma, directed by Zachary Jericho.
Looking at " inter-generational impacts of genocide, [the play] not only looks at the case of Armenians, but also Rwandans, and the complicity of the Canadian government in the maintenance of these groups' erasure."
