The Mighty Diamonds are a sweet singing Jamaica trio who CKUT was fortunate enough to have performed at our 30th Anniversary and Pop Montreal’s Sweet 16. The tragic death of Tabby “Diamond” Shaw followed shortly thereafter by bandmate Fitzroy “Bunny” Simpson hit the reggae community hard. In commemoration we rebroadcasted an interview that took place on West Indian Rhythms with Howard Stretch Carr in 2016. This interview includes some acapella vocalizing of Tabby and Lloyd “Judge” Ferguson (the one surviving member).
