Wednesday on the Robert Scott Bell Show: What are American’s doing? According to a recent study in the Times, most American’s know what food is healthy, and what isn’t. However, what they eat on a daily basis is still largely, (and we do mean LARGEly), governed by marketing. Just because a food is known to be “healthy” doesn’t mean it will make it onto the plate – much of what is consumed by Americans is what they can get quick, cheap, and is right in front of them – whether on TV, or promoted by their favorite celebs on Instagram, eating is a social sport, so seeing what other people eat influences us far more than facts in our head. It takes a lot of discipline to eat well if you haven’t been raised that way – but it’s not impossible!
