Nishan Lee aka Nishan Leeniyagala from Colombo, Sri Lanka is a producer with an innate passion for deep emotive electronic music. The Nishan Lee project focuses on deep hypnotic rhythms and spatial textures, always with an ear on forward thinking sonics, representing an outward reflection of inner states. Born of a passion and love for music that moves and awakens the senses, the Nishan Lee project is constantly evolving and reshaping itself into the new.
Perfectionist that he is, Nishan brings a fastidious attention to detail to studio productions, which are enjoying a continually growing success. Nowadays releasing music on labels like Soundteller Records, Balkan Connection, Global Underground, Hope among others having the publicly supported by DJ tastemakers and a long list of artists from Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J to Guy Mantzur and from Nick Warren to Sasha.
