Kate Dinneen has been working with hot metal since 1994. Her work can be seen locally at Free State Brewery, Merchants Restaurant and Wheatfield’s Cafe and Bakery. She contributed to gates at Black Jack Battlefield near Baldwin, KS and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London, England. She was mentored locally and internationally, studying with some of the world's best metalworkers. Formerly a Board member of the Artist Blacksmith Association of North America, she is now an award winning, contributing artist in the Kansas Art scene.
