Riyadh, Saudi Arabia nears the finish line in its bid to bring the Asian Games to the kingdom for the first time. Riyadh and Doha, Qatar were the only cities to submit a bid by the April 22 deadline set by the Olympic Council of Asia. The OCA’s evaluation committee visited both cities in November.
