Walter Munk dedicated his life to the study of the oceans, its currents and temperatures.Along with #RogerRevelle and #CharlesDavidKeeling, he helped elevate Scripps to a preeminent position in Climate Science. Now the Walter Munk Global Ocean Think Tank will continue the work to bring colleagues, leaders, and students together to tackle the enormous challenges of our time.
