Judges 16: 1-20
Samson is to be the deliverer of God and Israel won't have it. They reject Samson to the point of binding his hands and handing him over to the Philistines to be killed. All this just to keep a mediocre peace. The result of delivering Samson up to death is that Samson single handedly takes on the entire Philistine army with the jawbone of a donkey and wins.
