POOLcast 042 - dRealms
For the 42th installment of POOLcast we found another gem in our surrounding music cosm. Flavia alias dRealms has put an exciting musical story together for us.
Her set is dedicated to the oldest and purest of all art forms, telling stories. The art of storytelling is as old as mankind itself. Everyone has the tools for the elemental essence of artistic expression. The crucial step is to choose and master the medium for your stories you want to tell. Noises, gestures, words, language, symbols, sounds, dance, sculptures, paintings, music, poetry, theatre, photography, film and games. Over the history of humanity the medium has changed, expanded and evolved. Music has come a long way as medium for narrations and we are happy that this enables more and more people to become artistically active. Like Flavia, she carefully selected tracks, put them together into a context and created a unique story for us. A Tale of steaming noises and swaying deeps, with memorable lines and timbres.
