The feeding of the 5000 is quite some miracle. However it would never happened if Jesus hadn’t done an apparently simple thing- he welcomed the crowds. The disciples would have sent them away. As we look for God to do great miracles through us, this same crucial question remains: will we welcome the crowds or send them away?
