Interns: Developing a Diverse Leadership Pipeline
Creating a diverse pipeline for institutional leadership starts with building internship programs that reflect our visitors. Emerging professionals express frustration with early career opportunities. We will highlight new models, including Minnesota Historical Society’s undergraduate internship program and #museumworkersspeak, and then consider how the AASLH can help the field move forward.
