The starting point was with three brief samples (1-3 seconds each) from Michel Banabila's album Marilla. Sliced these samples to obtain individual sounds like drums and keys. Made the drum bed and overlaid some syncopated cymbal taps. Using a handful of the tonal sounds, developed the atmosphere. The feeling is of urgency and a distance or span. Finally applied reverb and compression with some mixing of the levels.
