During the early 1900s, beaver populations were driven to near-extinction in Wisconsin due to overtrapping. But thanks to conservation efforts, beavers were brought back from the brink, and can now be found across the entire state.
But the state's beaver population could again be at risk, at least, according to a Wisconsin-based conservation group. They warn that the current beaver management is threatening the state's beaver population.
And, they're threatening to sue over it.
