Earlier this month, Republicans in the state’s budget writing committee removed a provision from the Governor’s proposed budget to bring a paid family leave plan to Wisconsin.
At a meeting yesterday, Democrats tried to ease paid family leave back into the budget, but the debate over their new plan quickly turned contentious.
