The flag of the Ho-Chunk Nation will soon fly above the City-County Building in Madison.
Unlike other flags such as the Tibetan and Juneteenth that fly for a day, this flag will stay up in perpetuity alongside the American flag.
John Greendeer, president of the Ho-Chunk Nation, told WORT reporter David Ahrens what else local officials can do to acknowledge the Nation.
