Ahead of the screening of the film Ithaka in Madison, Norm Stockwell and Gil Halsted spoke with the father and brother of WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange. Assange’s father, John Shipton and brother and film producer Gabriel Shipton are touring the U.S. – and the world - with Gabriel’s film Ithaka which seeks to raise awareness about the Assange case and principles of press freedom under threat.
It will be shown at the Barrymore Theatre Monday, April 10th at 7:00 PM followed by a panel discussion featuring the Shiptons and journalist John Nichols.
