Earlier this week the Early Literacy Curriculum Council and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction released a list of 11 approved early literacy curriculums aimed at addressing the low literacy rates of Wisconsin kids.
The new curriculums are important because a law passed last summer requires school districts to adopt science-backed early literacy instruction.
