A ceremony was held at the Capitol today to celebrate the raising of the Juneteenth flag.
The ceremony featured music and several speeches from Governor Tony Evers, two state representatives and other community members. The speeches recognized the meaning of Juneteenth as well as the ancestors who fought for the freedoms enjoyed today.
